Okay, so I need to get to work, but sometimes you have moments, you know?

I get Blender magazine.  Not maybe what you’d expect, but people are funny.  At any rate, this was the cover photo that I found on my doorstep today:

Blender Novermber 2007

In case you do other things with your leisure time, that’s the former lead singer of The Pussycat Dolls (and also former member of “Eden’s Crush” — remember them?) who is now releasing her solo album.  At any rate, I grabbed it just as Thing 1 said, what was on that “maz-a-geen”? I said - nothing - just a picture that was pretty inappropriate.  “I saw it” she giggles.  Most of the time the cover is fine, but I’m pissed at Blender, and at myself.

I distracted her with a different piece of mail – from her younger cousin — she opened it - it was a thank you card.  This thank you card to be specific:

Disney Tinkerbell Thank You Notes - 8ct

Hmmm… well, that’s funny, isn’t it?  Let’s see, if I scroll back and forth… hmmm…Now, I hate to be a big uptight feminist (not really), but COME ON - I couldn’t possibly make this stuff up.  Thanks again to Disney and all the princesses, for helping get the message out early.

And, yes, I cancelled blender…

I’m. Just. Speechless. What can you say, really? And people wonder how we get the Britney Spears and Paris Hiltons of the world…Heck, we plant the seeds, fertilize the ground, and hoe the big, fat garden in which we grow them.

That is so disturbingly spectacular to see those 2 images next to one another. Kind of just drives the “subtle” message right on home! Aigh…

I’m new to your place. Will be scoping out the joint now!
